Texas Attorney General Offers Nonprofit Search

The Texas Attorney General's Office has added a searchable database of Texas nonprofit organizations to their web page. You can search by organization name, city or zip code. The search returns basic information about the organization including the address. There is also a button that would seem to indicate you can view the 990 on file for the organization. I have not found any organizations that have a 990 in the database. Hopefully that will expand this feature in the future.
